Solar Project Assessment
Designed for homeowners, businesses, NGOs, churches and municipalities planning a solar installation — anywhere in the world. Available in English, Français, Kreyòl and Español.
Most solar calculators stop after estimating your panel count. OXYN evaluates your entire project — energy needs, roof space, battery storage, investment cost, and future expansion — so you can make informed decisions before contacting any installer.
Use the assessment to estimate energy demand, compare consumption scenarios, and prepare future solar installations with greater confidence.
This assessment is vendor-neutral — use your results to compare quotations from any installer or supplier. Whether planning a home, business, institution, or community project, better information leads to better energy decisions.

Based on your total solar array size. Adjust panel assumptions if you already know your preferred equipment.
Your Estimated System
How this estimate is calculated
Daily energy = sum of (quantity × hours/day × power) for every appliance. Peak demand applies a simultaneity factor of 70% to non-essential loads (not everything runs at once). Solar array size = daily energy ÷ (peak sun hours × 0.80 system efficiency, accounting for wiring, inverter and temperature losses). Battery storage = daily energy × autonomy days ÷ 0.80 usable depth-of-discharge (typical for lithium batteries). Inverter size = peak demand × 1.25 safety margin. These are general planning estimates, not final engineering figures.
